Dues from National SCOR Committees

National SCOR Committees pay one of five levels of dues, usually from the national academy or royal society in the nation, but sometimes by a national agency or a consortium of institutions. The dues level is selected by the country, with countries with higher levels of ocean science activity usually paying a higher level of dues.

Nations applying for membership must decide on their membership category and associated dues level, and may increase or decrease their membership category over time.

SCOR’s accounts are audited annually, in accordance with regulations of the U.S. government. Audit reports are available upon request.  SCOR financial information is available through GuideStar.
