Global Network of SOLAS mCDR Nodes

The SOLAS Climate Intervention Implementation Team is aiming to build a global network of ocean experts that work in regional nodes to develop standards for marine Carbon Dioxide Removal (mCDR) initiatives especially concerning Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV). Our aim is to help establish an internationally agreeable foundation for standards, recognizing the interconnected nature of the ocean beyond national boundaries and jurisdiction. A more detailed description is attached. If you are interested in participating in any form, please fill out the form in this link FILL OUT FORM until 31 January 2024. Please also forward this to any other interested ocean experts in your respective networks. If you have any questions, please contact Linn Hoffmann  (University of Otago, New Zealand) and Lennart Bach (University of Tasmania, Australia).
