OASIS will host a monthly OASIS Webinar Series: A Community of Practice for the Emerging Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) network for the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS). The first USV Community of Practice webinar will be Thursday March 23 at 7-8AM PDT/3-4PM CET, and will include 6-minute talks from Ruth Patterson, Sarah Nicholson, Seb Swart and Adrienne Sutton and time for open discussion about an emerging USV network in the Southern Ocean and what it means to be a network within the GOOS.

The registration link also includes a lightning talk signup for 6-minute lightning talks for future USV Community of Practice webinars, which will nominally take place on the second to last Thursday of each month. These can be used for sharing lessons learned, future plans, impacts of assimilating these types of data, data management efforts, industry solutions, and so on. ECOPs are particularly encouraged to present.
