With great pleasure we announce that Daniel Weihs, has been appointed a Fellow of the Marine Biological Association of the UK (MBA).
Daniel Weihs is a Distinguished Professor at Technion faculty of Aerospace Engineering, head of The Technion Autonomous Systems Program, member of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities, Foreign Member of the US National academy of Engineering, Fellow of the American Physical Society, Chairman of the Israel inter-university Marine Science Institute at Eilat, and the Chair of the SCOR Israel National Committee.
The MBA is the World’s oldest Learned Society covering all aspects of the marine life sciences and “being accepted as a Fellow of the MBA is a significant honour, with the award only being granted to those who have made a contribution to the field of marine biology at the highest level.”
