Marie Alexandrine Sicre elected Vice-Chairperson of the IOC Executive Council

 

Marie Alexandrine Sicre (France), SCOR President between 2016-2020 and currently SCOR Past-President and member of the SCOR Executive Committee, has been elected Vice-Chairperson of the Executive Council of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO.

The elections for Chairperson and five Vice-chairpersons (Officers) of IOC as well as for members of the IOC Executive Council are held every two years during the IOC Assembly.
