Have you ever thought about coming to Brazil for a short research visit?The Graduate Program in Oceanology (PPGO) at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) is inviting international professors and researchers to apply for a 15-day Visiting Professor Grant in Brazil, through the BLUE-LINK Network – CAPES Global.edu Program.
This is a great opportunity to spend two weeks at our program, develop academic activities, exchange knowledge with researchers and graduate students, strengthen collaborations, and explore new possibilities for international research partnerships — all while experiencing southern Brazil. 
For the PPGO, three 15-day grants are available:
1 grant in Biodiversity and Biotechnology focused on the Blue Economy and its management 2 grants in Climate Change, extreme events, and their socio-environmental impacts on estuarine, coastal, and oceanic ecosystems
Each 15-day grant totals R$ 14,650.00, including:• installation allowance
• travel allowance
• health insurance allowance
• half-monthly stipend
Who can apply?PhD professors and researchers affiliated with institutions outside Brazil, with a recognized academic track record and relevant research output, who are able to propose an activity plan involving in-person activities in Brazil.
The visit can include activities such as lectures, seminars, short courses, training, teaching, research activities and collaboration with graduate students and faculty.
