Description The International Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental Change is an international, interdisciplinary science programme dedicated to promoting, catalyzing and coordinating research on the human dimensions of global environmental change. IHDP takes a social science perspective on global change and it works at the interface between science and practice.

Activity Summary
  • IHDP Biennial Workshops - Every second year IHDP conducts a capacity building workshop with differing foci on human dimensions research. The objectives of the workshop are to identify young researchers in developing countries through a competitive announcement to expose them to human dimensions research and try to involve them actively in IHDP related activities.  Reports available from the main homepage.
